James Balsterholt is an experienced Realtor working in the Salt Lake Valley since 2003. He brings a deep, instinctual knowledge attributed to his familial history in real estate that has been passed down now to the third generation. This unique advantage of being immersed in the world of real estate since childhood contributes to his ability to successfully navigate everything, from land acquisitions and development to vacation property investments and home sales. Fresh out of college at the University of Utah, the pull of the family business led him away from a career in finance to create his own real estate legacy under the auspices of his mother, one of the top REALTORS in the Salt Lake market for 20 years. Over the last 20 years he has had the opportunity to assist numerous buyers and sellers, working closely with developers in land acquisitions and new construction sales. Being entrusted with overseeing the sale or purchase of one of the most important investments in peoples’ lives, James is always at the ready to handle the needs of his clients, understanding that the buying and selling process can give rise to a roller coaster of emotions. His ability to adapt and relate to many personalities and people from all walks of life has been instrumental in not only reducing the level of stress involved in real estate transactions for his clients, but has also led to long-lasting business relationships and friendships throughout his career. Grateful to his family for the success in real estate, James also attributes some of that success to a strong focus and healthy discipline in everything he aspires to accomplish. Being an Air Force brat he was instilled with the characteristics of starting his day bright and early. His normal routine takes him to the gym, home for breakfast with his wife, and then into the office all before most folks are even stirring. James has- participated in local Spartan races and qualified for the Utah State’s Amateur Golf competition. For the most part, James’ leisure time is spent teeing off on one of the many golf courses around the Salt Lake Valley with a group of friends, shredding the local ski resorts and discovering the Valley’s obscure but amazing eateries, and listening to any and all classic Led Zeppelin cuts he can find.
