Steve Porretta is a REALTOR®, US Navy Veteran, patriot, and lover of anything outdoors. Before earning his license to practice real estate, Steve retired from the US Navy after 22 years of honorable service and then worked as a DOD contractor and system matter expert on various UAS systems. In 2016 Steve finally had the opportunity to become a resident of Utah county and live near the outdoor playground of his dreams that is the Wasatch Range where he goes mountain biking, snow skiing, goes boating and Off Roading, all with his Wife and daughter in tow. Always a positive influence and in pursuit of bettering himself, Steve also earned his Private Pilot Certification in 2019. Born and raised in Burbank, CA, Steve grew up helping his immigrant Italian Grandparents and Father in single and multi-family residential and commercial real estate, property management and large-scale property development throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Now back into real estate himself with experience as a Buyer, Seller, Property Manager, agent and a member of the National Association of Realtors, Salt Lake Board of Realtors, and a member of the State of Utah Dept. of Commerce, Division of Real Estate, Steve is going back to his roots with an innate desire to help his clients find the homes of their dreams. Serving as a Chief in the US Navy, Steve developed unbridled loyalty and integrity and grew to truly enjoy helping his sailors and military families to navigate the next transition in their lives. His military experience and intimate first-hand knowledge of the complexities of relocation requirements and specialized programs supporting Veterans transition make him extraordinarily suited to assist in these complicated situations.
